This talk and workshop was held in connection with a display of the New Arcadian Journal. After introducing my various landscape projects, my research into landscape history and the aesthetics of Jay Appleton (The Experience of Landscape, 1975), participants were taken on a short trip to the magical and hidden St George’s Field nearby. We then created miniature landscapes on plates in the gallery, using a variety of materials and approaches.
